    Based on a test of circular concrete columns of different sizes confined by BFRP under uniaxial load,the mechanics properties and size effection of specimens were studied and axial compressing strength model of specimens was presented. The results suggest that the model has a good degree of agreement with experimental datas and circular concrete columns of different sizes exist size effection.

    Platecone reticulated shell is a new type of space structure with good mechanical behavior and technical economy. In this paper,with theory of composite mechanics and theory of composite plate,shell through composite structure finite element method,local buckling and influence factors of laminated composite plates for platecone reticulated shell were analyzed,the mechanical characteristics of composite platecone reticulated shell  were studied, some important conclusions were obtained, which could provide theoretical foundation for practical design of composite platecone reticulated shell and laminated composite plates.

    This paper presents research on four beams strengthened with CFRP bonded in sawed grooves in the concrete cover under monotonous loads. The firstcrack load, steelyielding load, ultimate load at failure and deformation are systematically studied. Test results indicate that the strengthening method could overcome the problems with peeling of the strengthening material when surface bonded FRP laminates, and exhibites higher ultimate load compard with nonstrengthened beams, which shows that the ultimate load could be increased by 81.89%, and the space between cracks is smaller, the number of cracks is more, the width of cracks is smaller, as well as the deformation capacity is larger,but it shows no effect on cracking load and yield load . The construction of the method is simple. So, this new strengthened method is an efficient method .

    On the basis of ultrasonic test theory model, the ultrasonic testing data acquisition and data processing methods were described. Computer control system for ultrasonic testing technology researched timedomain waveform signal processing based on ultrasonic board. The Cscan image and column chart of CFRP surface were obtained. The result showed that the test system based on automation can accurately test the void content of carbon fiber reinforced plastics on the spot.

    The solution was prepared by mixing PMMA/PVAc with carbon nanotubes in terahydrofuran (THF).Thin films of carbon nanotube/poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA)/poly(vinyl acetate)(PVAc) composite film were produced by solution casting.Electrical resistance responses of carbon nanotube/PMMA/PVAc composite film against various ethyl acetate vapors at low concentrations were investigated.The results indicated that the composites had high sensitivity to different ethyl acetate vapors concentration and the electrical resistance increased with increasing PMMA content.So compatible blends of poly(methyl methacrylate) and poly(vinyl acetate) would be a candidate to be used as a gas sensing material to detect,quantify and discriminate various organic vapors.

    Unsaturated polyester resin artificial marble with the fillers of Ca(OH)2 and Al(OH)3 were soaked by 10% NaOH, 20% H2SO4 and toluene by 15, 30, 60 days.The flexural strength was mensurated and the mechanical properties was analyzed. The results showed that flexural strength was reduced rapidly with prolonging of the soaking time in corrosion solutions. The artificial marble soaked into corrosion solutions was observed by microscope. The observations showed that corrosion was dead against the polymer of unsaturated polyester resin,and the cohesive force between the polymer and fillers was reduced. The results of corrosive tests showed that toluene as organic solvent had a corrosion strong effect on polymer of unsaturated polyester resin,sodium hydroxide was relative strong, and sulfuric acid was relative weak.

    The aggregate grading study on particulatereinforced composite (resin and quartz plate composite ) were studied with test.The results show that the prior way of aggregate gradation  can be obtained with right ratio of large particle quartz sand and small particle quartz plate,which can lower the quantity of resin from 20~25% to 12~14%,reduce the cost,improve the economy profits,and ensue not to lower bend strength of winding layer.

    In this paper,polypropylene (PP) bonding with CPPgGMA (glycidyl methacrylate grafted chlorinated polypropylene) was studied as well as bicomponent acrylic coating painted on PP and its composite after using CPPgGMA as a primer.The results show that the adhesive strength of CPPgGMA to PP is better to some extent than that of CPP to PP,and the adhesion strength of coatingsubstrate can be improved effectively.As the grafting degree of glycidyl methacrylate onto chlorinated increasing,the adhesion strength of coatingsubstrate increased more and more significantly.When using CPPgGMA with grafting degree of 2.31% as primer the coating adhesion can even reach class zero which is the best class.

    The chemorheology behaviors of curing reaction of benzocyclobuteneterminated imide were studied with rheometer.The curing process was investigated by dynamic heating and isothermal methods,and three curing stages were found.Apparent physical activation energy of flow calculated by Arrhenius equation was 195.9kJ/mol.Apparent chemical activation energy of flow and apparent curing reaction activation energy were calculated by Roller equation, respectively.The results show that the viscosity characteristic of resin follows the Roller equation very well, and viscosity characteristic of resin can be predicted by the Roller equation in the whole curing process.

    As crucial structural components in bridge structures, bridge deck slabs played an important role in integral structural behaviours and transportation. However, with the increasing of ages in services, the durability of reinforced concrete bridge deck slabs was influenced significantly by carbonation. Recently, because of high strength, light weight and strong corrosionresistance, glass fiber polymer reinforcement bars (GFRP bars) were accepted by civil engineers. Due to the existence of compressive membrane action, it was shown that the structural behaviours of GFRP reinforced concrete bridge deck slabs with same reinforcement percentage were similar as those of steel reinforced concrete bridge deck slabs in nonlinear finite element analysis. Based on numerical analysis results, GFRP is available to be used as replacement of steel reinforcement. According the analysis of mechanism of concrete carbonation and material properties of GFRP, it was found that the durability of GFRP reinforced concrete bridge deck slabs was enhanced after the occurrence of carbonation in concrete structures, because carbonation reduced the permeability and porosity of concrete.

    The rheological property of a bisphenol A cyanate resin was investigated by means of parallel plate method, it was modified by isothermal precure process. The effects of precure process on the chemical structure of resin were studied by IR, DSC and GPC methods. In addition, the influence of the  pressure applying moment and precure conditions on the quality of S2 glass fiber/cyanate resin composite laminates was analyzed for hot press process. It is shown that the cyanate resin has low cure reactivity and high flowability, so the resin flow can not be controlled easily. The precure process makes the resin cure to a certain extent, decreases resin flowability, improves resin processability significantly, and enhances the composite laminates quality.

    The vacuum infusion molding process (VIMP) is becoming popular as a new type for largescale/unusual composites. Selecting H60 PVC foam, fouraxis Eglass nonwoven fabric and vinyl resin, a type of innovative reinforced sandwich composite as lattice reinforced sandwich (LRS) are fabricated by VIMP. The fabrication results show that VIMP is a highspeed and costeffective manufacturing method because of the resin flow channel provided by the acuminate grooves in both sides of foam core. The lattice in LRS along core’s height assure an even flow on both sides of core that can complete the filling process in a short time. The shear, flatwise compression and flexural behavier of LRS are enhanced compared with the traditional sandwich. The flexural ultimate bearing capacity of LRS are studied which can be used as reference to engineering practice.

    The unidirectional PBO fiber sheets are layered on the concrete to strengthen the flexural properties. The bending performance of the reinforced concrete with different fiber volume content using threepoint bending experiment has been studied. And a digital scanning technology has been used for investigation destruction feature of the concrete. The results show that the flexural strength of the concrete has been significantly improved by PBO fiber sheets, and flexural strength of the concrete becomes higher and higher as raising the fiber volume fraction. When the fiber volume content is 1.35%, the bending strength of the concrete is about 3.6 times compared with the plain one. The destruction of the concrete changes from the brittle fracture of plain concrete to the toughness fracture.

    Large scale concrete beams were strengthened by prestressing CFRP laminate with the special mechanical stressing and anchoring tools, then the strengthened beams were carried out to failure under the monotone load. On the basis of experimental results, the prestressing technique is used to rehabilite a railway simplysupported concrete bridge. The strengthened effect is good through testing the change of crack width and the midspan deflection.

    FRP bolt is the ideal supporting material used for coal side. Owing to construction, the FRP bolt is often under eccentric load which is harmful for bolt by theory analysis. This paper first applies experiment to simulate FRP bolt under eccentric load, designs eccentric load experiment. Compared with general load, experiment results show the most extensioncontradict drawing and elongation feature have a great reduce under eccentric load.

    The possibility of Taihu Lake silt applied for the sheet molding compound filler was studied from the silt chemical and physical properties and its structure.XRF was used to analyze the chemical compositions,the mineral phases was analyzed by XRD,the particle size distribution was detected by photo size analyzer,SEM was used to observe the morphology of the silt,the structural specialties of the silt were characterized by IR and NMR,and the oilabsorbing value of the silt was also measured.These analyzed results showed that the chemical composition and mineral composition of the silt was suitable for a silicate filler of sheet molding compound.The D50 of Taihu Lake silt was similar to the calcium carbonate filler of sheet molding compound,and the organic groups of the silt contained made it easily combine homogenously with sheet molding compound resin,which also had a higher oilabsorbing value than the calcium carbonate.The Taihu Lake silt was suitable for sheet molding compound filler according to its up characters.
