EFFECT OF PRECURING TEMPERATURE ON THE PROPERTIES OF WIND TURBINE BLADE COMPOSITES

Abstract: This paper studies the static properties of resin and fatigue performance of unidirectional fabric composite material at four different pre-curing temperatures. The results show that the pre-curing temperature has no effect on the performance of epoxy resin and FRP statics mechanical properties, but has a great influence on the fatigue properties of the fiber reinforced epoxy resin. The relationship of precuring temperature and the fatigue m value trend is verified by experimental test, different precuring temperature on composite blade manufacturing blushing phenomena are analyzed. In this paper, the temperature boundary is proposed for the curing process of glass fiber reinforced resin matrix composites.
