Abstract: In this paper, vacuum assisted spray method was used to fabricate the Advantex glass fiber/epoxy composite with 0.5% CNF. The Advantex galss fiber/epoxy composite saturated permeability was measured by the unidirectional saturated flow method, and the mechanical properties at different temperatures and solid particle erosion resistance were measured and investigated. The results indicate that after adding 0.5% CNF, the parallel direction of the Advantex glass fiber saturated permeability decreased by 2~6 times, and the perpendicular direction of the fiber saturated permeability decreased by 2~5 times. When the porosity is less than 0.44, the saturated permeability of two direction had little difference, which are close to zero. The influence of 0.5% CNF on pure epoxy and perpendicular direction composite mechanical properties and solid particle resistance properties are much smaller than those of the parallel direction composite. At high temperature, the addition of the 0.5% CNF improves the stability of the tensile strength of perpendicular Advantex glass fiber/epoxy composite.
