Abstract: A series of CPE-AO 2246 and SHPF/CPE-AO 2246 damping composites were prepared by using chlorinated polyethylene (CPE)、2,2′-methylene-bis-(6-tert-butyl-4-methyl-phenol)(AO2246) and seven hole hollow polyester fibers( SHPF). Dynamic and static mechanical properties of composites were measured and investigated by means of DMA and HD026NE electronic fabrics tensile tester. The results show that storage modulus of hot-pressed CPE-AO 2246 obtained increase at low-temperature platform area, and low-temperature platform area shifted to high temperature, Especially, storage modulus of high temperature hot-pressed CPE-AO 2246 obtained a sharp improvement; the peak of loss modulus obtained a large increase; obdurability and toughness of hot-pressed CPE-AO 2246 obtained certain to improve. Platform area of storage modulus of CPE-AO 2246 composites shifted to the direction of high temperature and maximum storage modulus increased sharply with adding fiber, the peaks of storage modulus and loss modulus increased with the increase of fiber content; stress of SHPF/CPE-AO 2246 increased and strain decreased with the increase of fiber content. These provided performance security to make SHPF/CPE-AO 2246 composites into engineering application.
