OPTIMAL DESIGN OF COMPOSITE STIFFENED PLATES

Abstract:

The optimization techniques of composite blade stiffened plates have been established with the genetic algorithm in this paper. The genetic algorithm using the multiparameter concatenated coding is applied to the layout optimization of the number and height of stiffeners, thickness of stiffeners and panel of composite stiffened plates. The results of the examples indicate that the methods proposed are available, and show us a new way to structural optimization problem.
