Abstract:

The influence of coupling agents of GF and grafting modification of matrix on the mechanical properties of GF was studied. The interface bonding state was also investigated using SEM.The results show that the silanized GF can not form an effective interfacial adhesion with the unmodified PP,however it can form an effective interfacial adhesion with the maleic-anhydridegrafting modified PP.And the latter can efficiently improve the mechanical properties of composite.Furthermore, the type of coupling agent can also affect the properties of composite to some extent.
