Abstract: Carbon fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide resin composites are widely used in electronic information, aerospace and other fields due to their good mechanical properties, flame retardant and chemical corrosion resistance. The interface between carbon fiber and polyphenylene sulfide is a key factor determining the composite performance. For further improving the properties of composites to adapt to different construction and service environments, more and more attentions have been paid to the interface properties between carbon fiber and polyphenylene sulfide. In this paper, the factors affecting the interfacial properties of carbon fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide composites are summarized from the views of process conditions, carbon fiber sizing and resin modification.
