Abstract: In order to explore the influence of polyformaldehyde (POM) crude fiber on the mechanical properties of ultra-high strength concrete (UHSC) to promote its popularization and application, the working performance, compressive strength, flexural strength, bending toughness and fracture toughness of ultra-high strength concrete (UHSC) with the volume content of POM fiber from 0% to 2.0% were studied. The experimental results show that the addition of POM fiber reduces the performance of UHSC, but it can improve the compressive strength, flexural strength, bending toughness and fracture toughness of UHSC. When the fiber content is 1.0%, its flexural strength increases obviously. The specimen with fiber content of 1.5% has the largest compressive strength, and the improvement effect on bending toughness is the most significant. And the fracture toughness is also significantly improved.
