Abstract: In this paper, we analyze the influence of the ellipsoid ratio of the cylinder head on the strength and stability of cylinders according to the film theory. Based on the grid theory, combined with the cylinder volume, the use of space and the actual production process and other constraints, we determine the geometry of the cylinder liner, fiber layer thickness of filament winding and winding angle. Finally, we analyze the strength and stability of the cylinder under various conditions by using the APDL. The results show that the strength and stability of 70L fiber wound vehicle CNG cylinder meet the basic requirements of fully wrapped aluminum lined carbon fiber reinforced composite cylinders.
