Abstract: Wing spars are the main load-carrying structures of the airplane. The developed countries has made various all-composite wing spars in advanced aircraft on the basis of proven processing methods of the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer(CFRP). But domestic research on this aspect has just started, and has not yet formed a perfect and practical manufacturing technology. The paper describes several processing methods of the composites wing spars in advanced aircraft abroad. Furthermore, the paper prospects the research interests in this field may be used as a reference to develop composite wing spars of our country in the future.
