Abstract: Resistance characteristics of carbon fabric play a significant role in studying the anti-icing composites materials. The effects of length, width and layers number on resistance features of T300 carbon fabric were studied. Besides, the resistance of carbon fabric is compared with its composite materials. The results show that resistance increases with length of carbon fabric linearly, but it decreases with width and layers number nonlinearly, which is different to common conductors inverse ratio. Resin infusion can reduce the resistance of carbon fabric by 0.1Ω, which is negligible.
