MECHANICAL ANALYSIS OF COMPOSITE WRAPPED CYLINDERS UNDER RANDOM VIBRATION ENVIRONMENT

Abstract: The stress of a composite overwrapped pressure vessel (COPV) fixed on supports was investigated under a random vibration environment. The fatigue life of the COPV was evaluated by combining the Three Interval Method and Miner criterion. Based on the object of the longest fatigue life of liner,the belt spacing of the COPV is optimized,and a solution for quickly determining the belt spacing is proposed.
