Abstract:

Two kinds of composite board with multifunctional group of epoxy resin TDE85 and AG80,reinforced by T300 carbon fiber. The volume percentage of carbon fiber is 60%. The experimental results show that the bending modulus of TDE85 composite board reaches 74.26GPa, the bending strength reaches 1061.4MPa, and the interlaminar shear strength(ILSS) reaches 54.05MPa. At the same time, the bending modulus of AG80 composite board reaches 55.73GPa, the bending strength reaches 840.52MPa, and the interlaminar shear strength(ILSS) reaches 44.84MPa. The crosssections and interfaces of unidirectional carbon fiber reinforced composites with different resin matrices are studied by metalloscope, electron probe microscope and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results indicate that for unidirectional carbon fiber reinforced composites with different resin matrices which were prepared in the same condition, so many carbon fibers were pulled out from the AG80 resin matrix, and nearly no matrix paste on the fiber. On the contrary, there were small number of fiber pulled out from TDE85 resin matrix, fiber and resin combined with relatively close.
