Abstract:

The FRPtowood bondslip model is the fundamental relationship to analyze the behavior of the fiber reinforced polymerstrengthened wood structures Eighteen specimens through externally bonded BFRP plates were employed to study the bond behavior between BFRP and wood The influences of the bond length, and the number of layers was investigated Based on the experimental study on the bond behavior between BFRP and wood, the strain development and distribution in BFRP sheet were analyzed, and the direct shear bond stress distribution and local bond stress versus slippage relationship were obtained in this paper Based on the Popovics model, a local bond stressslip constitutive model of fir grain direction was proposed by the statistical regression analysis of the test results The model matches the experimental results well, and is available references for the practical applications and corresponding codes
