Abstract:

The FRP profile assembled box beam is a box beam composed of pultruded cellular profiles that interlocking connected with other profiles through square tubes and togglebars. The FRP profile assembled box beam is a light, corrosionproof structural member and can be quickly fabricated and applied in short span highway bridges or pedestrian bridges. In this paper, a linear constitutive shell FE model was created and validated by existing laboratory testing to discuss the monotonic flexural behavior of the box beams. Moreover, parametric analysis was con
