Abstract:

Sodium Carbonxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) and Fine Silicon Fumes (SF) were used as composite

dispersants of PAN based carbon fiber for fabricating carbon fiber reinforced cement composites

(CFRCC) in this paper. The effect of the mixture ratio of composite dispersant on the mechanical

properties of CFRCC and the relationship between mechanical properties and the content of carbon

fiber as well as water cement ratio were studied. The results showed that it was a good way for the

dispersion of carbon fiber, it was found that the flexural strength and compressive strength of

CFRCC could be improved by 31.22% and 41.25% in 7 days respectively, when the content of carbon

fiber in cement was 1%, CMC and fine silicon fumes were 0.05% and 15%, the watercement ratio was

0.3 to 0.32.
