Abstract:

Through collate and summarize the basic corrosion theories of composite materials in salt steam of marine environment, this paper analyzed main corrosion forms and courses of the composite material. It is designed accelerated aging experiments with different salt steam temperature and aging time. Then I evaluated the corrosion of GFRP in the marine environment by analysising the material surface, glass transition temperature, changes in the micro-structure,focused on influence caused by different of temperature and age.Based on the equation of median aging expectancy and the remaining strength,a model of accelerated aging and a model of life prediction were established.According to the consistent attenuation of the mechanical properties of GFRP in aging period,a three linear model of mechanical properties attenuation with aging time in salt steam was established. The results show that besides the exterior changes, the glass transition temperature, the barthel hardness, the tensile strength and...更多 bending strength of GFRP all show a downward trend in salt steam environment. And these will increase with the increasing temperature or extend the time. The equation of median aging expectancy and the remaining strength can describe the rule of natural aging and accelerated aging of polymer matrix composites. The three linear model of mechanical properties attenuation with aging time can directly reflecte every corrosion stages of GFRP in salt steam environment.
