Abstract:

Effect of the amount of phenolic resin on friction coefficient and specific wearabilty and reinforcing fiber on impact strength are experimentally studied. And influence of reinforcing fiber on friction and wear is theoretically discussed. The result reveals that the amount of phenolic resin and reinforcing fiber should be reasonably controlled in formula design of polymer-based frictional materials.
