HIGH-TEMPERATURE COMPRESSIVE CREEP PERFORMANCE OF PMI FOAMS

Abstract: High-temperature compressive creep performance of polymer foam core is very important for the co-curing processing of foam-cored sandwich composite structure. This paper introduces the present research status of high-temperature compression creep of polymethacrylimide (PMI) foams, and analyzes the influence of material and environment factors on the high-temperature compressive creep of PMI foams. Finally, several test methods applied in high-temperature compressive creep performance of foams are compared.
