RESEARCH ON MODIFIED CYANATE ESTER RESIN SYSTEM FOR FILAMENT WINDING

Abstract

Abstract:

Cyanate ester(CE) resin was modified with epoxy resin in this paper and a modified cyanate

ester resin system for wet winding was developed. The curing properties of this system were studied

in the gel test and DSC test. The trend of the modified CE resin viscosity changing with temperature

and time was got， so that some parameters such as process temperature， winding speed， and the

working life of modified CE system were determined. Meanwhile， the thermal， dielectric，

mechanical properties and the interfacial performances of the modified CE matrix with glass fibers

or carbon fibers were also studied.
