Abstract:

It is obvious that the total mass of the tube will be reduced and the elastic-plastic strength and the dynamic property will be increased if part of the metal was replaced by composite material.In order to study the in- fluence of the transient impact of powder gas with high temperature and high pressure on the composite material bar- rel,by using finite element method,considers the interactional relation between the temperature field and dynamic stress field,the direct coupling analysis is employed,the variation regularity of the two-dimensional temperature field and dynamic stress field of the composite material barrel on firing is obtained.The result demonstrates the feasibility of composite barrel design scheme,and provides the theoretical calculation basis for the firing experiment.
