QUALITY CONTROL IN INSTALLATION PROCESS OF HIGH PRESSURE FIBERGLASS REINFORCED PLASTICS PIPE

Abstract: High pressure fiberglass reinforced plastics pipe (GRP) had been widely used in the crude oil gathering and transferring, sewage back, polymer and other fields. There are many key processes for the GRP from the factory to the actual use, and every process plays an important role on the safety of the whole pipeline. In order to make use of GRP in the crude oil gathering and transferring, sewage back, polymer and other fields, the paper combined with the standards and on-scene experience, discussed every key point such as handling, digging, laying, fastening, pressing, filling, operating, etc, in the fixing process of the whole pipeline in order to have a better usage in the oilfield.
