FINITE ELEMENT MODELING AND BUCKLING STABILITY ANALYSIS OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL WIND BLADES

Abstract: Based on 40 meters horizontal wind blade, the structure and loads of the wind blade were analyzed. The method of using FiberSIM, CATIA and MSC. Patran finite element software to establish the finite element model was illustrated, and the buckling stability of wind blade was calculated based on the finite element model. The result shows that the wind blade structure has a good capability of anti-buckling failure,meets the requirement of GL, the composite laminate and structure design is reasonable.
