FATIGUE TIME ANALYSIS ON DIFFERENT AUTOFRETTAGE PRESSURE OF GLASS FIBER HOOP-WRAPPED COMPOSITE CYLINDERS

Abstract: This paper analyzed the fatigue times of glass fiber hoop-wrapped composite cylinder under different autofrettage pressure. By adopting the new stress range-cycle times curve instead of the JB 4732 standard, the fatigue life under different autofrettage pressure was calculated. The results indicate that the cylinder can not meet the fatigue life if no autofrettage.
