DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF AUTOMATIC ROLLER COATING EQUIPMENT FOR WIND TURBINE BLADES

Abstract: With the development of large wind turbine blades, more requirements are put forward for blade post-treatment process. At present, the roller coating process of wind power blade post-treatment completely adopts manual operation, which also increases the labor cost of blade manufacturing under the condition of unstable roller coating quality. In this case, the application of automatic equipment in wind power post-processing becomes extremely urgent. This paper mainly discusses a new type of automatic roller coating equipment for wind power blades, which mainly includes AGV intelligent navigation equipment, truss manipulator, automatic paint matching and conveying system, electronic control system integration and other parts. The application of automatic roller coating equipment can effectively improve the working efficiency of wind power blade post-treatment, ensure the quality of blade roller coating, reduce the labor cost of blade manufacturing, and improve the intellectualization degree of blade industry.
