TECHNICAL ANALYSIS AND CURRENT SITUATION RESEARCHON MANUFACTURING COMPOSITE FUSELAGE FRAME

Abstract: In this paper, the function and structural characters of composite fuselage frame were introduced. Composite fuseluge frames are the primary structures of airplane. They have features of particular structure, large number and high quality uniformity requirement. These features enhanced the difficulty of manufacture. On this basis, key process difficulties during manufacture were analyzed, including fiber wrinkle control, fiber gap and angular deviation control, thickness and curing quality control of corner area, cured-induced deformation control and automated manufacturing technology. Then the process researches and applications of this part in domestic and foreign were introduced. It also pointed out the trend for manufacturing composite fuselage frame automatically with the development of composite.
