Abstract:
Glass fiber reinforced polymer bars with different diameters,pitches and surface forms were prepared in this paper.Through the compressive test and shear test on GFRP bars,the failure mode and mechanism of GFRP bars were researched; the effect of diameter,pitch,surface form and slenderness ratio on compressive strength and shear strength was also analyzed.It is found that changes in diameter have a certain influence on compressive strength and shear strength of GFRP bars.Pitch and slenderness ratio have no distinct effect on mechanical properties of GFRP bars.
