RESEARCH ON ADVANCED PULTRUSION EQUIPMENT TECHNOLOGY OF HALF LENTICULAR TUBE

Abstract: Aiming at astronautic composite lenticular tubes in this paper, the advanced pultrusion technique was developed. Main modules of half lenticular tube advanced pultrusion equipment, including unreeling device, preformed device, hot pressing device and traction clamping device were designed. After setting up the prototype of advanced pultrusion, half lenticular tubes were manufactured. It is shown that half lenticular tubes cured at 130℃ for 30min under the pressure of 1MPa could meet the quality requests. It provides a new method for the low-cost manufacture technique of composite lenticular tubes.
